E. Leitz N.Y. Leicameter by Weston Model 715 w/ Case – RARE [SL] 4 photos • This meter is the last Weston / Leica model made. I was able to find only two sites on the internet showing it. One was informational, the other was a Leitz Photographica auction site where one sold for over 400 Euros. • Cosmetically excellent, showing only light use. • It does respond to light although I’m not confident in the accuracy – it is about 85 years old. • The leather case has done its job keeping the meter as beautiful as it is. • A name is written on the inside of the case flap and lightly scratched on the strap loop on the back of the case. • Made in U.S.A. • This is part of an estate collection I’m helping the survivor sell. Prior to me starting to help, boxes full of exceptionally nice cameras were sold for a fraction of their value.
