14 months old was working perfectly but switch started making a crackling noise and then it just packed in. As you can see the filter is in excellent clean condition - kettle has not been descaled or cleaned didn't see the point but sending the whole lot in the box from our new kettle. From a smoke pet free hygienic home hopefully someone can make use of the whole lot ????????
