These good quality mahogany and brass double dark slides are a set and are in "as found" condition. There are no cracks or splits to the wood that I can find and the brass work is in working order, but there is a little loss of lacquering and tarnishing in places, mainly to the hinges. Each slide has its' inset celluloid number plaque and have painted numbers to the bottom on one side. The slides all open and close well. They measure externally 5 1/2 inches by 8 inches approximately. The wood has gained a lovely depth of colour and patina over the years However, they do have the usual scuffs and scratches that you would associate with items of this age.
